La performance è tratta dal lavoro Bianchisentieri, storico lavoro della compagnia Giardino Chiuso, rappresentato anche e soprattutto in luoghi non convenzionali. Bianchisentieri tradizionalmente si modifica a seconda dei luoghi che incontra per incastonarsi nelle architetture del nostro paesaggio urbano e naturale. Bianchisentieri_Aurora debutterà all’interno del festival Orizzonti Verticali e sarà legato drammaturgicamente al progetto Sentieri di carta, con lo scenografico abito che contraddistingue la performance. Seguendo la scia dell’istinto creativo, in dialogo con un palcoscenico pieno di pagine scritte dal quale scaturirà una barchetta di carta, simbolo del viaggio che idealmente vorremmo intraprendere.
The performance is taken from the work Bianchisentieri, a long-standing Giardino Chiuso company work, Bianchisentieri_Aurora will make its debut at Orizzonti Verticali festival, and will be dramaturgically linked to the project Sentieri di carta, with the performance’s signature scenic dress. Following in the wake of creative instinct, in dialogue with a stage full of written pages from which will spring a paper boat, a symbol of the journey we would ideally like to undertake.
Bianchisentieri investigates, with visual and sound suggestions, the themes of conservation and transmission of the memory of our cultural heritage.
The transposition into a surreal image will give life to a rare “animal”, perhaps already disappeared, that drags a dress built with pages of abandoned books, ready for destruction, as a symbol of the memory of the past and repositories of knowledge.
The traces left by its passage will take form, as in the dreams, assuming a concrete physiognomy, desires, curiosities, and desire for knowledge.

The performance changes according to the places from which it draws inspiration and which suggest, from time to time, new choreographic, sound, and video scores, and it was set up in libraries, museums, theaters, urban spaces and other places.
