The Indistinct Borders, from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, investigates the threshold of being and disappearing — not as opposition but as a zone of intensity. The dominant black is not an absence of light but an original condition, a womb and an abyss. Metamorphosis is not temporary but a permanent state. The choreographies are crossed by fixed and sudden images: the present moment contains both acting and fading. A reflection on the power of nature and the impermanence of form: being asserts itself precisely at the moment it loses definition, and the present contains within itself all metamorphoses.
